Hypalon rubber gaskets

Hypalon rubber, also referred to as chlorosulphonated polyethylene, has excellent resistance to chemicals, ozone, weather, acids, heat and abrasion.

Self-adhesive backing can be applied to one or both sides to simplify the application process.

Due to the durable and lightweight characteristics of Hypalon rubber, it makes for an excellent material to use within the construction and automotive trades.  It is also an excellent choice of material for gap filling and weathering applications due to its negligible water absorption characteristics.

Hypalon is available in black or white and a variety of densities.

Characteristics:

  • The closed cell, cross-linked structure makes it impermeable to air and water and therefore a very good material for sealing against air and/or water

  • Good resistance against adverse weather conditions, and contact with oil and ozone

  • Shore Hardness: 65° ± 5°

  • Temperature: -30°C to +180°C

  • Durable and lightweight
