Evazote (EVA) foam gaskets
Evazote (EVA) foam gaskets are made from expanded closed cell cross-linked ethylene vinyl acetate.
Self-adhesive backing can be applied to one or both sides to simplify the application process.
Due to the durable and lightweight characteristics of Evazote foam, it makes for an excellent material to use within the construction and automotive trades. It is also an excellent choice of material for gap filling and weathering applications due to its negligible water absorption characteristics. Evazote is available in black or white colours and a variety of densities.
Characteristics:
The closed cell, cross-linked structure makes it impermeable to air and water and therefore a very good material for sealing against air and/or water
Good resistance against adverse weather conditions, and contact with oil and ozone
Capable of dealing with a moderate temperature range of up to 65°C/149°F
